Aleksandar Kovačević (Serbia)kept the lead on the table of the 3rd Open international chess tournament Mediterranean 2017 with 5.5/6 points,after a calm remi against a hungarian grandmaster Robert Ruck .With an effective win with black figures against Chatalbashev ,young grandmaster from Rijeka Marin Bosiočić came closer to the leader Kovačević with 5 points ,while Kožul won against Cebalo in a marathon match which lasted 5 h and 20 minutes ,in which 111 moves were made and he joined Bosiočić on the second place with 5 points.Sharing the 4th place we have 17 players with 4,5 points.
